An attorney with over 25 years of experience, including 15 in private practice and 10 years as General Counsel of EMJ Corporation, Chris Hall established Equitas Management Group in 2014. He provides guidance to the Equitas team and leads the strategic vision of the company. Chris enjoys assisting clients in their growth strategies and identifying opportunities to add value to their development projects. Chris graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a bachelor’s degree in economics and earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Tennessee College of Law in Knoxville. He is a member of the Tennessee and American Bar Associations, as well as the International Council of Shopping Centers. Chris is an active member of the community and has served on boards of charitable organizations, most recently the Make-a-Wish Foundation of East Tennessee.
John has over 19 years of commercial real estate experience, specializing in development and brokerage. A graduate of the University of Kentucky, John is a licensed real estate principal broker in the states of Florida and Georgia. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and served on the 2013 Tennessee/Kentucky ICSC Planning Committee. In his role as Senior Vice President of Real Estate, John is responsible for the creation and implementation of the build-to-suit and development program for national retailers and managing client and tenant relations.
Drew oversees construction operations at Equitas. With nearly 30 years of experience, Drew offers Equitas’ clients a wealth of knowledge in the construction and development industries. He is committed to providing clients with an exceptional construction experience and works to identify opportunities to deliver unique value throughout the lifespan of a project. Drew graduated from Auburn University with a bachelor’s degree in building construction. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
Reggie is responsible for providing leadership and oversight to Equitas’ development team. A graduate of the University of the South in Sewanee, Tenn., Reggie has over 27 years of commercial construction and development experience, focused primarily in the retail market. His vast experience includes development, redevelopment, tenant improvement, project management, construction, facility management, entitlements and permitting across the commercial, institutional and healthcare sectors. His retail portfolio includes numerous projects for Publix Supermarkets, Whole Foods, Lowe’s, Home Depot, TJX, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Carmike, Ulta, Tractor Supply, Walgreens, and CVS Pharmacy. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
Adam joined Equitas in 2016. He has more than 15 years of real estate experience in both brokerage and development. Adam works closely with John Potter, focusing on building new client relationships and identifying sites to maximize clients’ long-term growth strategies. He primarily focuses on grocery store and mixed used development opportunities, leveraging his extensive experience in these sectors to further expand Equitas’ portfolio. He is a graduate of the University of Kansas.
A member of the Equitas team since 2015, Hal has more than 30 years experience in commercial real estate. He works closely with John Potter, using his extensive experience in office, retail and hotel development and large scale commercial land transactions to build client relationships and identify development sites. Hal earned a master’s degree in economics from Cornell University. He holds a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) accreditation and has completed the course work for a MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute. He is also a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
